Match Preview: Blackburn Rovers vs Stoke City

The Potters will look to end their 3-game losing streak when they visit Ewood Park to face an 18th-place Blackburn side.

When I first predicted last week's game against Leicester honestly I thought we would lose but the way we lost was just embarrassing.

Nevertheless, The Potters need to stay focused and make sure they don’t drag themselves into a relegation fight.

This would be the perfect opportunity to add some much-needed relief to the side with a win against Blackburn.

Here’s everything you need to know about The Potters upcoming game against The Rovers…

Team News

Steven Schumacher has suggested that after recent results the door is wide open for everyone in and around the Stoke City squad.

With Schumacher stating that “everybody wants to play and people are desperate to get into the team.”

Million Manhoef will now be available for selection after getting his work permit.

Josh Laurent is also back in the squad which leaves Stoke with almost a complete squad leaving Schumacher with a slight headache.

Ryan Mmae was left out of the squad last week due to disciplinary reasons and will be left out again this weekend.

Predicted XI against Blackburn:

(GK) Iversen, Thompson, Wilmot, McNally, Hoever, Cundle, Baker, Burger, Gooch, Campbell, Junho.

Harrison’s Prediction

This one is a big one if The Potters were to lose this they will certainly be dangerously tip-toeing on the edge of relegation.

Luckily the club has had some positive news come out despite the negative results with the new fan engagement plan.

Hopefully, this will spur Stoke City fans on a bit more and really get that 12th man in play despite our atrocious form.

This will certainly be a tricky game, but I have faith with this one.

MY PREDICTION: BLACKBURN ROVERS 1 – 2 STOKE CITY
