Stoke vs Swansea Preview

Stoke City return to action tonight against Swansea City in front of Sky Sports cameras with kick off at 8:15pm.

Stoke come into this game having lost 3 of their last 6 games whilst winning 2 and drawing one, on the other hand; the form of the Swans seems quite bumpy too with them losing 3 and winning 3.

Both teams are packed with quality although it must be utilised to make an entertaining game - both teams lost last time out (2-1 to Brentford & 1-3 to Bristol City respectably).

Stoke boss Michael O Neill hopes to be boosted by the return to fitness of veteran striker Steven Fletcher who has netted 8 times this season whilst former Swan Sam Clucas remains sidelined after his recent surgery on his double hernia. The Potters' injury problems don't stop there though as James McClean is also sidelined with a foot injury as is Morgan Fox with a hamstring injury and they join Tyrese Campbell and Nathan Collins on the sidelines who both have long term injuries.

The Potters will also be without loanee Rabbi Matondo who is yet to return to training after an injury but Potters boss O Neill hopes to see Matondo return to the training pitch tomorrow (4 March) to hopefully find himself in contention for Saturday's game against Wycombe.

The Gaffer also offered an insight into the test we will face tonight during his press conference yesterday which you can watch below:
