We are Stoke launches Student Journalism Scheme


We are Stoke is proud to deliver multi faceted content, over a wide variety of different platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Spotify, to name a few.


As we approach the 2022/23 EFL Championship season, we're on the lookout for multiple aspiring student journalists, who live and breath Stoke City FC.


The ideal candidates for these roles will have a proven passion for sports journalism, whilst having some past experience in writing. Furthermore, the candidates should be knowledgable about the football club, whilst being able to deliver original content which Stoke City fans around the world, want to read.


This is a fantastic opportunity to add to your online portfolio, so that once you have completed your studies, you'll have access to a huge digital collection of writing that you can refer employers to, which gives you that much needed start to your professional career.


If you'd like to write for We are Stoke, you should:


- Have a strong writing ability, whilst being able to showcase this via your online articles.

- Have an eye for detail, editing your articles as you write so that they are ready for publication.

- Have a general understanding of copyright, including use of images, literature and artistic work.

- Have the ability to work independently on pieces of content that you believe will be a hit.

- Be able to produce articles upon request
